Pewter Awards

These pewter awards are exclusive to Camp Royaneh. You won't be able to earn these at any other summer camp. Keep reading to learn more about each award and how you can earn your own this summer!

Order of the Rattlesnake

Program area: Nature

Requirements: Attend the Order of the Rattlesnake program offered in the Nature Glen during the 7:00-8:15 period. This program runs all week and you must attend each night to receive the award.

Daniel Boone Award

Program Area: Shooting Sports

Requirements: Complete the required shooting requirements at each range. You can purchase shooting tickets at the Trading Post.

• Hit 3 out of 4 Clay Pigeons at the Shotgun Range
• Shoot for a score of 35 at the Archery Range with 7 arrows
• Shoot for a score of XX at the Rifle Range
• Hit a 3.5” leather round at the Black Powder Range

Mountain Man Award

Program Area: Mountain Man

Requirements: Earn this award by hitting a target at the Black Powder Range, sticking X out of X rounds at the Tomahawk range, and making an Indian craft.

Saddle

Program Area: Corral

Requirements: Earned by attending the Corral outpost. Sign up at the Trading Post

Polar Bear Claw

Program Area: Aquatics

Requirements: Earned by attending the polar bear swim at the pool

Oak Leaf

Program Area: Nature

Requirements: Earned by completing the High Loop Nature Trail hike

Cairn Boot

Program Area: Nature

Requirements: Find all of the Cairns hidden around camp and sign your name in each one. Pick up a map at the Admin Building.

Green Cairn Boot

Program Area: Nature

Requirements: Complete the Cairn trail and pickup 20 pieces of trash along the way.

Carabiner

Program Area: C.O.P.E.

Requirements: Complete one of the C.O.P.E. Classes

Scoutcraft Award

Program Area: Scoutcraft
Requirements: Do the following requirements to earn this award.
• Demonstrate the 8 basic Scout knots
• Build a Pioneering Project
• Teach Totin Chip
